Sustainability:

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU's) are small but otherwise complete dwelling units allowed in Portland and a growing number of other municipalities. They can be free-standing structures, additions to homes, or within existing garages.  ADU's are attractive to homeowners for many reasons including: Passive income, offsetting expensive housing, housing for family members and friends, or as flexible added space that can also serve as rental or guest house. Due to their limited size, Portland's SDC fee waivers, and the lack of property costs; ADU's are much more affordable than simply building a new home.

Asmund has experience with all aspects of creating different types of ADU's, and recently developed, designed, and built his own backyard ADU (currently available for rent on AirBnb).
