Tweto Architecture was selected to design a new home to replace a family home lost to a fire in 2023. The couple are returning to Oregon for retirement and wanted a house that feels comfortable for the two of them, while easily accommodating visiting family.

The main floor is organized for single-level living, with a full primary suite, a generous mudroom, and an open kitchen / living / dining area that balances connection with just enough separation to feel cozy and support flexible use. Upstairs, three guest bedrooms and a shared bath provide space for family and friends.

Large south- and east-facing windows strengthen the connection to the land and bring in daylight, while a deep porch helps manage summer sun. The home is being designed with a durable, high-performance envelope, a metal roof, solar, and other resilience-focused details to stay comfortable, efficient, and long-lasting.

An attached garage and covered connection add storage, everyday functionality, and a sheltered arrival.
